2056 Build

Team 2056 is in the middle of the six week build season, frantically designing, prototyping, building, and programming this year’s robot that will compete in "Rebound Rumble".  Team members, mentors and parents have been spending evenings and weekends preparing the robot and practice field so they are ready to compete in March.
Competitions:
Greater Toronto East Regional, March 8-10, 2012
University of Ontario Institute of Technology,  2000 Simcoe Street North Oshawa Ontario L1H 7K4

Rookie Team Kit Bot Demo

Rookie Team 4039, MakeShift Robotics and Team 4022, Waterdown Robotics joined OP Robotics for three one hour sessions to build last year’s kit bot during preseason.  All three teams enjoyed success with a moving robot at the end of the hands on workshop as well as some new friendships.  We wish our two new Hamilton teams great success in the upcoming build and competition season.

Rebound Rumble

Rebound Rumbles’ is played by two competing Alliances on a flat, 27 x 54 foot field. Each Alliance consists of three robots. They compete to score as many basketballs into their hoops as they can during a 2 minute and 15 second match.

2011 IRI Champions!

Selected by 33 The Killer Bees from Michigan as the fourth pick overall along with 217 The Thunder Chickens also from Michigan and 359 The Hawaiian kids from Hawaii, we went on to beat the fifth seated alliance in the quarters, the first seated alliance in the semi's and the seven seated alliance in the finals. Well done 2056!
